A Church Built on the Word
Gateway Baptist Church was planted in St. Louis, Missouri with a clear conviction: the local church exists to preach the Word of God without compromise, love the community God placed it in, and send laborers into the harvest fields of South County and beyond.
From its earliest days, the church has held tightly to the King James Bible as its final authority for faith and practice. The ministry has grown out of a simple commitment to plain Bible preaching, traditional hymns, and old-fashioned soul-winning — knocking doors, running bus routes, and pleading with souls to come to Christ.
Under the leadership of Pastor Daniel McCrillis, Gateway has reached countless people through Sunday services, weekly soul-winning, a growing bus ministry, and a printing ministry that sends Gospel literature across St. Louis and into missionary hands around the world.
Our Mission
Preach the Word. We preach the King James Bible plainly, from Genesis to Revelation — expecting God to change lives through His Word.
Win the Lost. We go where the people are. Every week our members take the Gospel door to door, onto our bus route, and into the marketplace.
Disciple the Saved. We walk alongside every new believer — teaching, training, and sending — so that the work of the ministry multiplies.
